Store at room temperature.
Register: Scan the QR code below or visit petdna.ancestry.com/register to register your kit using the unique code on your activation card. Don’t skip this step otherwise we won't be able to identify your sample.
Swab: Wait at least 30 minutes after your dog has had food or water. Remove the swab from the packet without touching the sponge tip. Swab your dog's inner cheek in a circular motion for 30 seconds to fully soak the sponge. Unscrew the swab and insert into the tube with tip facing down. Screw the cap on tightly and shake the tube 10 times.
Return: Place the tube into the collection bag and seal. Put the bag into the returns box and seal with the adhesive tape. Your dog’s test is now secure and ready to send to our lab. Mail the prepaid box back to our lab. We'll send you an email when your online results are ready.
