For Kittens 3 - 10 weeks: Moisten and make readily available. Begin weaning your kitten at 3 - 5 weeks by offering Horizon Complete All Life Stages Cat Food moistened with water. At 6 weeks you can start to feed your kitten according to the chart. Horizon recommends a portion - controlled feeding program. Divide the suggested daily amounts into 3 or more feedings per day. At 3 months, the daily amount should be divided between 2 feedings — morning and evening.
Keep fresh drinking water available at all times. See your veterinarian regularly.
When switching your cat or kitten from another food, transition your food over 6 days by mixing the original food with an increasing proportion of Horizon Legacy Cat and Kitten food until the last day when you can stop mixing.
