Use caution when using this tool
Shampoo and condition pet. This will break the static lock of any mats making it easier for the brush to pass through hair without damaging coat. Start brushing the rear of the animal, to allow pet to become accustomed to being brushed before working toward the head. Lift hair upwards with your free hand and brush the hair down and out of your hand in the direction the hair growth. Keep your wrist straight to prevent the pins of the brush from scratching the animal’s skin. To remove mats, place free hand beneath mat and brush repeatedly until mat is gone.
