For pregnant or nursing females, we recommend free choice feeding. For puppies, we recommend feeding about 2-2.5 times the adult dog active amount of the same weight and adjusting as needed to maintain an ideal body condition as the puppy grows.
When introducing your dog to their new Superior Care dry food, take it slow to keep those tummies happy. Start by mixing just 25% of the new food with 75% of their current kibble for the first two days. Then, move to an even 50/50 blend on days 3–4. For days 5–6, serve 75% new food with just 25% old. By day 7, your furry friend will be ready to enjoy a full bowl of their new favorite kibble. A gradual switch means easier digestion and a smooth, tail-wagging transition!
