Each dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts vary with age, size, activity level, breed or environment. Continue 7-12 mo. Feeding guideline up to 18 months of age for small breeds. Pregnant/Nursing Mothers may eat 2-3 times the recommended daily amount by age. Divide total recommended feeding amount per day into number of times you feed your dog. If loose stools occur, first try to reduce quantity fed to dog and/or avoid feeding other foods & treats until stool becomes firm.
When transitioning to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition do so over a period of 5-7 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days.
