Fill your feline companion’s bowl with Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food. Developed by veterinarians, this diet is designed to nutritionally support your kitty’s urinary tract and bladder health. This wet cat food helps increase the amount of urine she produces to help dilute excess minerals. It also creates a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Even better, a reduced level of magnesium in the formula helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower mineral concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Consult your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. Also ask your veterinarian about the right Royal Canin dry cat food and treats (sold separately) to complement your furry friend’s diet.

Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Cats will often refuse mixed diets, so we recommend adding the new food to a separate bowl from the old food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.
| Transition Day | Current Diet | New Diet |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1-2 | 75% | 25% |
| Days 3-4 | 50% | 50% |
| Days 5-6 | 25% | 75% |
| Day 7 | 0% | 100% |
