Whether your cat is overweight or she has developed food sensitivities and needs a special diet, your veterinarian recommended Royal Canin Satiety + Hydrolyzed Protein for a reason. This dry hydrolyzed cat food was specially formulated by veterinarians to support safe weight loss in overweight and obese cats who also have known food sensitivities. This complete and balanced diet promotes satiety—meaning it provides a feeling of fullness, which helps your furry friend feel full between meals. Hydrolyzed proteins, composed of low-molecular-weight peptides, support gastrointestinal and skin health. Be sure to consult your veterinarian to know what level of activity is appropriate for your feline friend. Ask about Royal Canin therapeutic treats (sold separately) to add variety to your feline’s diet.

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively.
