Whether this is your cat’s first urinary issue or she has developed food sensitivities and needs ongoing urinary care, your veterinarian recommended Royal Canin Urinary SO + Hydrolyzed Protein for a reason. This dry hydrolyzed cat food was developed by veterinarians to support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It’s designed with Relative Supersaturation (RSS) methodology that predicts the potential of crystallization of your kitty’s urine. This RSS-developed formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. It also features highly digestible hydrolyzed proteins, which help support stomach and skin health in adult kitties with food sensitivities. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your furbaby on this cat food for long-term care. Ask about Royal Canin therapeutic treats (sold separately) to complement your cat’s feeding routine.

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
