Tacrolimus ointment is a prescription medicine that may be beneficial for a variety of skin conditions including atopic dermatitis, discoid lupus erythematosus, pemphigus erythematosus, pinnal vascular disease, and others. Compounded Tacrolimus ointment is made specifically for your pet.
Tacrolimus can be harmful if exposed to those it is not prescribed to. Wear gloves or use an applicator to apply the ointment to the treatment area and wash hands after applying. Do not let your pet lick the treated area for at least 30 minutes after applying.
Each full pump dispenses approximately 0.5mL of ointment. Only use enough ointment to treat the affected area. DO NOT use this ointment on your pets eyes.
