In addition to maintaining healthy intestinal mucosa, curcumin may also help decrease nuclear factor-kappaB, nitric oxide, and free radicals in the colonic mucosa. By scavenging free radicals and bolstering your pet’s glutathione levels, curcumin can aid in liver detoxification and inhibit nitrosamine formation.
