Feed according to the age, size, and activity of your cat. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Always provide access to clean fresh water. For weight maintenance, feed 3 to 3 1/4 cans per 6 to 8 lbs of body weight per day. For weight reduction, feed 2 2/3 to 2 3/4 cans per 6 to 8 lbs of body weight per day. For combination feeding, reduce dry amount by ¼ cup for every 1 can wet.
The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two—and increasing the new food gradually—will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.
